The last time we played Collingwood, it was a fantastic final win. The win also allowed Rohan Smith to play his 300th game because if we lost, he would have retired playing 299 games. I sincerely hope that we can again surprise the magpies and beat them. That will make my year.

I was on the other side of the world, very early in the morning, about to board a flight from London to Dublin... got a call from a very happy Footscray mate leaving the MCG. Needless to say I got told by airport security to keep my voice down.

That game last night was like the final of 1974 at Waverely rather than the 2006 one at the cricket ground.
