At 32, he was one year younger than myself. How tragic for someone to die that young...
Also, I just realized that he was one of the callers that I had been listening to all year. After sampling the various alternatives, I settled on listening to games on 3AW (online, through the AFL website) because I liked their commentary best...

Rather eerie now when thinking how some weeks earlier on this website forum, on another topic (the one about the great British soccer commentator Hugh Johns) you mentioned your football commentator in Portugal who died suddenly. I replied that this sort of thing hardly happens in Australia- mentioning Jimmy Burke and then Dick Mason.
Then this happens to Clinton Grybas who was much younger than Jimmy Burke or Dick Mason when they both died suddenly.
