Kings of the World- by Mississippi.

It was a hit song in from late 1972 stretching into early 1973.

I never knew its name- couldn't correctly get the lyrics in my head. Then they played it on Underbelly- I was rapt when it came on.

So after finding out the relevant information- I learned it was on the Underbelly cd- which I bought from JB and there it is.

You can see it on You Tube- Mississippi were the forerunners to the Little River Band- which is so obvious from the song.

This is going to sound really wanky, but I'm listening to Che Tua Madre Dovrà from Puccini's Madama Butterfly.

Currently just listened to "Manhattan Spiritual" the instrumental.

This was the tune later used for the Channel 7 Big League Replay back in the mid 1970's.
