Well, I'm not an Arsenal fan, but I'm surely a Bergkamp fan. He was one of the best soccer players I've had the pleasure to watch. And he seems to be a very nice bloke as well.

He was a non-flyer too Dennis Bergkamp. Absolutely couldn't stomach getting into an aeroplane.
He was evidently a Tottenham Hostspur fan as a child in Holland yet ended up at their great local rivals Arsenal.
One other point is that he was named after the famous British player Denis Law, but Mr Bergkamp's parents got the spelling of the first name wrong- Denis Law with the 1 n and Dennis Bergkamp had the two n's.

God, that brings back some memories! The poor man had the most famous phobia in Europe. Each time Arsenal or Holland had to fly to a game the media would go on and on about his separate travel arrangements.
