Fantastic start to the season! I love how we're turning from a team of champions into a champion team!
Anyone else worried we're peaking too early?
3-0!!!

I've attended every game so far and I have to say I am impressed with the way they are using their bodies to their advantage. And they are going in hard but they seem to be using a more matured approach, and the team spirit is astounding. I know we played a dodgy 1st qtr last night, it wasn't really dodgy all the effort was there but St Kilda were leading significantly in their tackling and inside 50's. We were actually leading in disposals though. But for the last 3 quarters I dont think there was one player on the team who didn't put in 100% And how about Josh Hill, with the NAB nomination last week and close to a flawless game last night, he's kicking goals, taking great overhead marks he's just super to watch. And I think we had 10 separate goal kickers as well last night.
But to be honest I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about racking up too many injuries early on in the season. Higgins has ended up with 14 weeks to recover from chipping a bone in his ankle and damaging the ligament, so thats a bit of a blow but if Griff, Cross, Murphs, Cooney, Hahn, Gia, Johnno, West, Aker, Minson, Lake, Welsh and Hudson can remain as fit and on fire as they are we will be as competitive as any team. It's like the 2006 team are back bring on the Bombers.

3-0 is a good start... I said to mates before season proper we could possibly be 4-1 and judging by richmond today i could be spot on. I think the draw we have requires a good start.
Peaking to early? Not at all worried. We have a fantastic list - excluding our top 6-8 - if anyone gets injured we have a similiar replacement.
If we continue to play as well as friday nights three quarter performance we could be 6-0 before heading to Sydney for a game I continue to have pencilled in as a loss. We should beat essendon, richmond and west coast.
The best part about all this is that Rocket has heeded the emails i sent him last year and Will "Optimus" Minson is down forward. It is as joyous to see as the wins themselves....
Go Dogs.

Inside a fortnight we should quite comfortably be looking at 5-0! That is coming from a card carrying pessimist. Although knowing there will be no Scott West for this Friday night against the Western Bombers has made me uneasy about the 5-0.
