A week ago I went and saw that National Treasure Book movie with Harvey Keitel and Jon Voight.

Sad to sad but I didn't like it, it was not what I thought it would be (or hoped it would be)

Movies with long far fetched car chase scenes become special effect productions rather than a show with a deep and meaningful plot. The same for the Da Vinci Code, as it also to me was more about the special effects rather than its actual message.

Caveman! I'm disappointed in you!

The original National Treasure was one of the greatest comedies of 2004! The sequel, whilst not as good was in the same absurdist vein.

It's similar to Armageddon and Con Air in that they are all completely deadpan comedies. All the way down to the marketing, they advertise them as action/dramas.

I have this debate with someone at the pub on an almost monthly basis, people don't realize they're meant to be funny. And I'm proud to say I have a 100% success rate if I can convince them to re-watch the films. I always get a "You're right, it's a comedy"

Rewatch my friend, but in the same way you would watch MacGuyver.

I received Gold Class tickets for my birthday, so I am going to see the new Bond film tonight. Should be good.

Yeah it was pretty good. Probably not the best opening scene I've seen on a Bond movie, but a decent movie never the less. Gold Class is pretty swisho lol
