[Caveman]

We are finally playing on the date of the 25th April- for the first time since Wednesday 25th April 1990- all of 21 years.

That game was a victory over Carlton at Princes Park

Footscray 15.13.103.

Thank goodness that we have a game on this the actual Anzac Day- even if it is on the other side of this continent. West Australians are quite good with ceremonies so I am pleased that it is Fremantle playing us and not a different team. It is a major annoyance to me to have Anzac Day ceremonies on other days- the Brisbane v St Kilda match was played on April 21. We don't sing Auld Lang Syne on December 28 or January 3rd.

It is also something else to give the neutrals (the 13 other clubs supporters) a bit of variety over the never ending build up to the other game on the same day in Melbourne.
