That is probably the funniest thing I have seen in cricket on the television

Michael Hussey being given out stumped by the 3rd umpire using the video replay in the Grandstand.

However the third umpire in the stand has apparently pushed the red button instead of the green button! So Hussey walks off dismissed. Then it is realised that the wrong outcome has come up on the scoreboard and umpire Billy Bowden goes chasing Hussey to recall him.Posted Image

I always assumed that the white button is used as a correction option. So if the wrong button is pressed- then you press the white button to advise everyone that a mistake was made and the next movement on the scoreboard by the 3rd umpire will give the correct option.

Now they say it was a malfunction- so the blame is directed at the people that set up the system!

This is like that St Kilda v Fremantle game in Launceston some years ago with the siren stuff up!
