Anyway, this "Collingwood winning Grand Finals" lark had to end eventually! Well done Geelong, they lost their best player, their coach, their president, they were supposed to be too old but in the end they were magnificent. Forget about premiership windows, a good team is a good team, period.

Not a bad start to this AFL caper for Carter.

Yet hardly anyone knows what he looks like- this Colin Carter bloke? Just like the St Kilda President- Greg Westaway- his record is quite impressive, but probably 90% of non- St Kilda fans would NOT recognise him in the street should he walk past them.

So there is a place for the quiet low profile President to be a high achiever in the modern AFL.
