Happy New Year 2009.
This year 2009 is the 150th anniversary of Footscray the municipality. In 1859 Footscray became a city- sadly this will hardly be celebrated (if at all) anymore since there is no longer a City Of Footscray- it is now the City of Maribyrnong and has been since 1994 when the council mergers took place.
However FNWB will be celebrating Footscray's 150th birthday.
